Investment Criteria

Peregrine looks to identify deals, companies and projects that are under-funded, under-developed or often regarded as too risky or early stage for larger investment houses or institutional funds. Peregrine often focuses on projects that are pre-revenue or production and helps to develop this early phase of the company's life cycle. Once the foundations of the company are laid and business structures are sound, a further round of funding may then take place which will bring the company, project, product or science to a stage where a decision will be made as to whether the Company is suited to follow a private path to a post revenue stage of the business cycle or a public path through an Initial Public Offering (stock exchange listing). At this stage of development the public market is willing to invest in junior companies that are on the cusp of revenue creation as the initial business risk has been decreased. Once this stage has been achieved further creation of value can be completed in the public arena.

Peregrine may initially fulfill the role of a venture capitalist and generally will not proceed with a project or transaction unless it leads the investment syndicate in the early financing rounds.
